Immediate Impact and Schedule Flexibility:

Address a critical need for CRNA coverage, ensuring continuity of care for patients undergoing surgery in our 11-room main operating room suite and 2 additional ambulatory surgery center operating rooms. We offer a variety of schedule options (8, 10, or 12-hour shifts) to accommodate your preferences, with full-time availability from August 9th through January 6th (including full-time stretches and some block scheduling).

Be prepared to adapt to a computer-generated schedule that meets the facility's needs. Diverse Caseload:

Expand your experience by providing anesthesia for a wide range of surgical procedures, including orthopedics, trauma, general surgery, spine surgery, neurology, cardiac catheterization, ambulatory procedures, and endoscopy. Supportive Work Environment:

Work alongside a team of dedicated surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals in a collaborative setting. Utilize Cerner and SaAnesthesia, the electronic medical records systems used at the facility.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with surgeons and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement safe and effective anesthesia plans for patients undergoing a variety of surgical procedures. Administer various anesthetic medications and monitor patients throughout the surgical process, ensuring their well-being and safety. Document patient care accurately and efficiently within the Cerner and SaAnesthesia electronic medical records systems. Participate in pre-operative assessments and post-operative care as needed.

Maintain a strong focus on patient safety and communication with all members of the surgical team. Qualifications for Success:
Current national certification as a CRNA (CRNA) is mandatory. Valid and active registered nurse (RN) license and CRNA license in the state of Arizona or a willingness to obtain an Interstate Medical License Compact (IMLC) is required. We are not seeking willingness to relocate or obtain additional licensure at this time. Current certification in BLS or ACLS is mandatory. Experience using Cerner and SaAnesthesia, the electronic medical records systems used at the facility, is preferred.

Recent hospital experience providing anesthesia care is required. Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients, surgeons, and staff. The ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment is crucial. Flexibility to adapt to a computer-generated schedule is essential.
