Role Overview
The Registered Nurse (RN) is a clinical position responsible for the delivery of direct patient care, utilizing the established nursing standards of care and standards of nursing practice for the patient population it serves. Through collaboration with all members of the health‑care team, it strives to support a patient centered culture and gain knowledge and skills to further the practice of and the quality of patient services provided Registered Nurse functions under the direction of the Nurse Manager and/or the CNO/DON and exercises independent judgement in applying professional knowledge required to plan, prioritize and organize diversified responsibilities in the delivery of quality patient care.
This position is safety sensitive and subject to WMRMCs Drug & Alcohol Policy.

Must be available to work some holidays and weekends
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Knowledge regarding the nursing process and its application, including the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of nursing care
- Valid registration as a Registered Nurse in the state of Arizona
- Certification within 30 days of hire as listed below:
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
- Bachelor's of Science Nursing
- Two (2) years previous RN experience in an emergency department or urgent care setting
- Trauma Nurse Care Course (TNCC)
- Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN)
- Certified Pediatric Emergency Nurse (CPEN)
- Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course (ENPC)
