Exciting Opportunity for a Locum Tenens Nurse Practitioner (NP) in Urgent Care
Shift: 2 days on (12-hour shifts), 2 days off, then 5 days on, repeat cycle
Compensation: $100-120/hour (W-2 or 1099)
Join our team as a Nurse Practitioner in a dynamic Urgent Care setting. You ll collaborate with a dedicated Medical Assistant and front office staff, working alongside another NP on 12-hour shifts. The Urgent Care facility boasts its own Lab and Radiology services. During Summer, expect to see 10-15 patients daily, increasing to 15-20 patients during Winter. Your role involves providing primary healthcare, focusing on health maintenance, disease prevention, patient education, and counseling under physician supervision.
Responsibilities- Provide primary healthcare and patient counseling under physician supervision.
- Focus on health maintenance, disease prevention, and patient education.
- Collaborate with a Medical Assistant and front office staff in a Urgent Care setting.
- Arizona license, NP certification, and DEA registration.
- Comfortable treating all ages and chronic diseases.
- PALS, BLS, and ACLS certifications required.
- Background and drug screening mandatory.
- Experience with Evident EMR preferred.
