Landscaper

S&S Paving & Construction is dedicated to transforming outdoor spaces through expert landscaping, paving, and maintenance services.

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Landscaper to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing outdoor environments by performing landscaping, planting, hardscaping, and equipment operation. Your enthusiasm for outdoor work and commitment to quality will help us create stunning landscapes that exceed client expectations.

• Perform landscape maintenance including mowing, trimming, pruning, and planting to ensure healthy growth and aesthetic appeal
• Operate hand tools, power tools, irrigation systems, excavators, and other landscaping equipment safely and efficiently
• Identify plants, trees, and shrubs to ensure proper care and health management
• Manage pesticide application and other plant treatments following safety protocols
• Construct or repair hardscape features such as patios, walkways, retaining walls, and garden beds
• Conduct tree care activities including trimming, pruning, and removal as needed
• Maintain equipment through regular inspections and routine maintenance to ensure optimal performance

• Mechanical knowledge related to landscaping tools and equipment
• Experience in landscape maintenance, gardening, or horticulture preferred
• Ability to identify various plants, trees, and shrubs accurately
• Knowledge of pesticide management and safety procedures
• Construction experience with hardscape features is a plus
• Familiarity with irrigation systems installation and repair
• Strong understanding of lawn care practices including mowing and fertilization
• Ability to operate power tools safely and effectively
• Prior experience with snow plowing or winter landscape services is advantageous
• Excellent physical stamina for outdoor work in various weather conditions
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record preferred
