Star Valley Veterinary Clinic and Payson Pet Care are seeking a compassionate and dependable Part-Time Veterinary Assistant to join our teams. This position offers the opportunity to work at two established small-animal practices serving pets and their families throughout Arizona’s Rim Country.

Services include wellness and preventive care, dentistry, surgery, radiography, and in-house diagnostics.
Payson Pet Care has served the Payson community since 1998. As an AAHA-accredited hospital, our team is dedicated to maintaining high standards of veterinary medicine while providing comprehensive, respectful, and compassionate care to every patient.

Schedule- Tuesday and Wednesday: Star Valley Veterinary Clinic, 8:00 a.m.–5:30 p.m.
- Employment status: Part-time
- Base hourly rate of $16–$20
, dependent on experience - Eligible for periodic bonuses, where applicable

- Safely handle and restrain patients
- Obtain patient histories and prepare examination rooms

- Support patient comfort, cleanliness, and hospital organization
- Maintain accurate and thorough medical records
- Communicate professionally and compassionately with clients and team members
- Previous veterinary or animal-care experience preferred
- NAVTA Approved Veterinary Assistant certification is a plus
- Compassionate and confident patient-handling skills
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Dependable, organized, and eager to learn
- Ability to work the full schedule at both hospital locations
