Dateland, Arizona

Salary Range: $123,750 to $163,000

This position is eligible for the annual performance bonus plan.

This position primarily involves working on-site at the project location or in office. Travel frequency and duration will vary depending on the role and project timeline.

Final determination of a successful candidate's starting pay will vary based on a number of factors, including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, education and experience. The pay scale listed for this position is generally for candidates that meet the specified qualifications and requirements listed on this specific job description. About The Role

This role supports the Project Teams in developing and sustaining an Incident and Injury Free Culture (IIFC) and ensures compliance with federal, state, local and client safety regulations and requirements. This professional will lead the technical development and maintenance of a Project Safety Roadmap and Site Safety Plan. This position reports to the assigned Regional or Division Safety Manager.

Scope:
Receives assignments in the form of objectives and determines how to use resources to meet schedules and goals. Provides guidance to subordinates within the latitude of established company policies. Recommends changes to policies and establishes procedures that affect immediate organization(s).

Complexity:
Works on issues of diverse scope where analysis of situation or data requires evaluation of a variety of factors, including an understanding of current business trends. Follows processes and operational policies in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions. Acts as advisor to subordinate(s) to meet schedules and/or resolve technical problems. Develops and administers schedules, performance requirements; may have budget responsibilities.

Discretion:
Erroneous decisions or failure to achieve results will add to costs and may impact the short-term goals of the organization.

Interaction:
Frequently interacts with subordinate supervisors, customers, and/or functional peer group managers, normally involving matters between functional areas, other company divisions or units, or customers and the company. Often must lead a cooperative effort among members of a project team.

Supervision:
Manages, perhaps through subordinate supervisors, the coordination of the activities of a section or department with responsibility for results, including costs, methods and staffing. In some instances this manager may be responsible for a functional area and not have any subordinate employees.

About You

Understanding of industry consensus standards such as NFPA, ASTM, and ANSI

Experience with union workforce desired

CPR/FA Certified (Trainer Preferred)

Ability to work independently, strong communication skills with ability to influence behaviors

Proficient in using a computer and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)

Bi-lingual desired

Minimum Qualifications

Any combination of education and experience that would likely provide the required knowledge, skills and abilities as well as possession of any required licenses or certifications is qualifying.

Education:

High School Diploma or GED required;
Bachelor of Science on Occupational (OHS) or Environmental (EHS) Safety and Health preferred.

Licensure/

Certifications:

OSHA 30 and BCSP certification required, CHST or CSP preferred.

Experience:

5-7 years of construction safety experience (electrical safety experience preferred).

Driving Record:
Valid state-issued driver's license and satisfactory driving record.

Preferred Qualifications

Bilingual proficiency preferred.
