Capital And Corporate Accountant

As a Capital and Corporate Accountant, you will ensure accuracy and compliance regarding the assets and inventory holdings of Texas Instruments, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and financial reporting requirements. This role is an integral part of the global finance organization of TI, working closely with individual business units to ensure compliance and drive performance. Main tasks:

  • Control monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities ensuring full compliance with HGB and US GAAP for fixed assets accounting and provisions, including timely activation, depreciation, cost allocation, reconciliations, and preparation for external reporting.
  • Maintain and update the fixed asset register; manage asset additions, deletions, and transfers; support periodic asset audits and timely depreciations.
  • Manage inventory levels of our product distribution center (PDC) with monthly reconciliations and quarterly sample counts.
  • Act as the central point of contact for internal departments (engineering, IT, operations) on investment projects, overseeing the activation, valuation, and booking of investment expenditures.
  • Responsible for the ESG compliance reporting process for Germany, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and timely submission of all related reporting obligations.
  • Automation and process improvement – proactively identify opportunities for enhancements in reporting, systems, and workflows to support TI’s digital transformation journey.
  • Support statutory reviews, internal and external audits, and compliance activities in the area of fixed assets and corporate accounting, including providing documentation and analyses.
  • Collaborate with TI locations worldwide to share best practices, process improvements, and cross-functional training.
