Security Specialist
Serves as a Security Specialist responsible for administration of Personnel Security (PERSEC) Information Security (INFOSEC), and Security Education Training and Awareness (SETA) programs.
Collaborates directly with Deputy Chief of Staff (DCS) G2 and Army Cyber Command (ARCYBER) G2 to resolve complex security challenges impacting the security posture of the command and subordinate units.
Assists with Preparation, coordination, and conducting Security Compliance inspections and Staff Assistance Visits (SAVs) including the preparation and presentation of briefings and written reports on the results.
Administers the INFOSEC Program for Headquarters, NETCOM, ensuring the protection of classified information across the headquarters staff.
Provides guidance and advise to Command staff regarding the original and derivative classification process, proper storage, destruction and transportation requirements.
Assists in implementing the program for the security of Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) at the headquarters and throughout the command.
Serves as the principle subject matter expert for NETCOM G2 and administers PERSEC program command wide.
Develops NETCOM policy on all aspects of the Personnel Security Program management across the command.
Responsible for implementing a broad range of PERSEC requirements across the command, independently making complex policy interpretation of all aspects of PERSEC management.
