Job Title
Performs mining operations within the shaft, including drilling, blasting, and mucking. Operates and maintains mining equipment, follows safety protocols, assists with shaft sinking and maintenance, and communicates effectively with team members

Education:

Work Experience:
2-5 years' experience in a similar role.
Knowledge
Required:
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to multitask and work effectively.
- Ability to safely use and handle a variety of tools, equipment, and materials.
- Ability to work efficiently as part of a team as well as independently.
- Ability to read and understand engineering prints (civil work, structural work, rock excavation work).
- Ability to work as part of a project planning team.
- Previous quality experience is required.
- MSHA Underground miner training would be considered an asset.
- Underground Mining experience would be an asset as would knowledge of applicable mine regulations pertaining to construction in mining.
- Must be able to comprehend written and verbal instructions as required to perform his duties in a safe and efficient manner.
Other Requirements:
- Ability to pass background clearance check, drug screening and physical.
- Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
- Ability to prepare written reports and correspondence.
- Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing.
- Ability to work in a team environment with minimal supervision.
- High level of attention to detail, neatness, and accuracy.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
