The electrician participates in the construction, installation, modification, maintenance and repairs of electrical appliances, systems, facilities and related electronic controls of varying design or complexity.
ResponsibilitiesPrevious Related Work Experience
Required:
Minimum of two years of experience in a mining or industrial environment
Education Required:
- Two years of formal technical training in the principles of electricity and electrical design.
- High School Diploma or equivalent
Special Skills and/or Knowledge
Required:
- Ability to read and draw diagrams
- Knowledge of AC and DC control circuits
- PLC experience
- Must be able to identify and analyze electrical/instrumentation problems
Special Equipment/Computer Knowledge
Required:
Must provide own tools
