Location: Kearny

The Industrial Mill Electrician is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems and equipment supporting mill operations, including crushing, conveying, grinding, pumping, and process control systems. This role is critical to ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient plant operation in a heavy industrial/mining environment.

Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Journeyman Electrician certification or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 3–5 years of industrial electrical experience (mining or heavy industry preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of industrial power distribution systems, motors, drives, and control circuits, electrical troubleshooting and diagnostics, reading and interpreting electrical drawings and schematics
  • Experience working with PLCs and industrial automation systems
  • Strong understanding of safety practices in industrial environments
  • Current and valid driver’s license
  • Offers of employment are contingent upon a successful criminal background check and pre‑employment physical including a drug screen (hair analysis)
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in mining, concentrator, or processing plants
  • Familiarity with SAG mills, crushers, and large pumping systems
  • Experience with high‑voltage systems
  • Experience with CMMS systems (SAP, Maximo, etc.)
Work Environment &

Physical Requirements
  • Work performed in a heavy industrial environment (dust, noise, heat, and outdoor conditions)
  • Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in varying weather conditions
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Willingness to work rotating shifts, overtime, and respond to callouts as needed
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Adaptability in a fast‑paced, production‑driven environment
