Lead Heavy Equipment Operator

Responsibilities

• Operate bulldozers, scrapers, front-end loaders, and other heavy equipment
• Operate heavy equipment in compliance with company safety policies and procedures
• Conduct routine equipment inspections and preventative maintenance
• Maintain accurate equipment records
• Move and position raw materials and finished components using material-moving equipment
• Follow standard operating procedures for operating and maintaining vehicles
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Work at recycling facilities and waste disposal sites

• 5 years of experience operating heavy equipment
• Must be over 18 years of age
• Legally eligible to work in the United States
• Ability to perform physical requirements with or without reasonable accommodations
• Successfully complete and pass a pre-employment drug screen and physical
• Ability to operate bulldozers, scrapers, and front-end loaders
• Ability to follow safety policies, procedures, and standard operating procedures
• Ability to conduct equipment inspections and preventative maintenance
• Ability to work independently and solve problems
• Finger dexterity and motor coordination required most of the workday
• Ability to occasionally handle objects weighing less than 30 pounds
• Ability to work around dirt, odors, noise, weather extremes, and similar elements
• Willingness to obtain a REAL  TSA-Approved Alternative if required for business travel or federal property access

Demonstrates expertise in operating heavy equipment such as Bulldozers, Scrapers, and Front-End Loaders while adhering to safety policies and conducting routine inspections and maintenance. Capable of maintaining accurate equipment records and performing physical tasks in challenging environments.
