HVAC Technician

Full Time | Concho

The HVAC Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable operation.

• Install, inspect, and service a variety of units, including furnaces, boilers, chillers, air handlers, and heat pumps.
• Identify and resolve complex mechanical, electrical, and control system malfunctions quickly.
• Execute routine maintenance schedules to extend equipment life and prevent downtime.
• Verify airflow, temperature accuracy, and energy efficiency to meet rigorous operating standards.
• Navigate blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
• Maintain detailed logs of repairs, parts, and work orders.
• Strict adherence to safety protocols and environmental standards.
• Handle emergency repair calls and troubleshoot on the fly.
• Maintain a clean workspace and communicate clearly with team members and clients.

High School Diploma/GED and completion of a certified HVAC technical program (or equivalent hands-on experience).

• Deep understanding of advanced refrigeration, heating, and air conditioning principles.
• Proficient in reading schematics and interpreting complex work plans.
• Strong verbal and written communication; a team-player attitude.
• Ability to navigate confined spaces and work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, to meet emergency needs.
• A valid driver's license is required.
