Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Shop Technician to join our team. As a Shop Technician, you will be responsible for performing a variety of duties related to mechanical repairs and maintenance. This is a hands‑on role that requires heavy lifting and strong mechanical knowledge.

  • Topping off other fluids, including brake, power steering and windshield wiper fluid
  • Inspecting the engine block and underbody for leaks and potential issues
  • Checking tire pressure and filling tires with air as needed to manufacturer specifications.
  • Lubricating moving parts as necessary, including those in the engine and wheel bearings and ensuring the engine is kept clean throughout servicing.
  • Troubleshoot light and heavy‑duty trucks
  • Making sure our DOT trucks are in compliance.
  • Perform other duties as required.

To be considered, candidates must be authorized to work in the United States.

Job Requirements
  • Three (3) years of mechanical experience with light, medium, and heavy‑duty/class A experience.
  • Possession of strong diagnostic skills
  • A valid Driver’s License
  • DOT experience
  • Applicants must possess their own setup tools necessary to perform the job duties effectively.
  • Must be able to work days and some nights
  • Ability to safely use hand and power tools, equipment, and diagnostic devices
  • Must be dependable and report to work on time
  • Strong work ethic
  • Must exhibit a high level of safety consciousness and a clear understanding of equipment safety
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs., safely climb ladders, and regularly walk on uneven ground
Preferred Qualifications
  • ASE Certified
