Sundt is seeking CDL Off-Road Truck Driver with at least 3 yrs of experience; must have experience operating a Oshkosh military trucks and trailers to transport construction equipment; experience with heavy-haul operations, oversized loads, or military Oshkosh equipment is preferred.; will be responsible for preventative maintenance and pre-shift walk around of the assigned equipment to assure safe operation; must have a current class A Commercial Driver's License and Medical Card;

you must pass a pre-employment DOT drug test and maintain a current Medical Card; be available for overtime. Rate is $30.88/hr. plus cash fringe benefit. Work hours are 60+; $1,246 weekly per diem to qualified candidates only. Estimated project duration 1 yr

Job Summary

Safely operates a variety of trucks, not limited to dump trucks, volumetric mixers, flatbed trucks and articulating haul trucks. Will be responsible for preventative maintenance and pre-shift walk around of the assigned equipment to assure safe operation.

Minimum

Job Requirements

Must have a minimum of three years’ experience in the industrial/commercial construction industry and have an in-depth understanding of the operation of various types oftrucks.

Must be able to read and understand safety and quality standards and effectively utilize all trade tools and equipment relevant to the work.

Possess effective verbal and written communication skills.

Physical Requirements

Work up to a 12-hour shift doing hard physical work in varying temperatures and outside conditions.

Will climb and maintain balance onstairs, ladders.

Will lift, push or pull objects up to 50lbs. on an occasional basis.

Required to use hands to grasp, lift, handle, carry or feel objects on a frequent basis.

Must be able to comply with all safety standards and procedures.

May reach above shoulder heights and below the waist on a frequent basis.

May stoop, kneel, or bend, on an occasional basis.

Ability to wear personal protective equipment is required (including but not limited to; steel toed shoes, gloves, safety glasses, hearing protection, hardhat,vest, etc.)

Move in and around confined, cluttered and uneven areas.
