Join our group of passionate advocates on our mission to improve the lives of youth! Rite of Passage is hiring for a Bilingual Youth Care Worker at Sycamore Canyon Academy in Oracle, Arizona.

Sycamore Canyon Academy is a unique therapeutic and educational community located in the heart of Oracle, Arizona. Our campus is a sanctuary where students and staff can connect with nature. With extensive trails maintained for a safe and enriching environment, the Academy empowers at-risk youth to overcome challenges and reach their full potential through a holistic approach that combines accredited education, therapeutic services, and immersive outdoor experiences.

Responsibilities
  • Work directly with youth to provide supervision and ensure daily schedule adherence.
  • Supervise youth in the school setting, including escorting them to medical appointments and outings.
  • Assist in developing and leading outdoor activities and innovative programs.
  • Maintain a positive, safe, and supportive environment for all students.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English.
  • At least 1 year of experience in a child welfare or agency setting.
  • Minimum age of 21 years.
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check, drug screen, physical exam, and TB test.
  • Must pass a search of the Child Abuse Central Registry.
Compensation & Benefits

Pay: $23.74 per hour.

Sign-on Bonus: $1,000 for Days.

Schedule:

4 hours of guaranteed overtime each pay period and two shifts. A Shift – Sunday through every other Wednesday 7:00‑8:00 p.m. or 8:00 a.m.‑9:00 p.m. (1 hour break each day). Schedule subject to change based on program needs.

Benefits include medical, dental, vision, company-paid life insurance within 90 days, 401(k) match up to 6% after 1 year, paid time off that can be used as soon as it accrues, onsite housing, free meals, and transportation.
