In the context of modernizing the Group's sports betting platform, we are looking for a Senior Back-End Software Engineer.

This transformation aims to strengthen the performance, quality, resilience, delivery agility, and scalability of the sports betting platform. Initially designed to meet the challenges of the French market, this platform is intended to progressively support the international ambitions of FDJ UNITED.

Within a product organization in squads, you will join the Sports book teams and work in a distributed environment with high volume.

You will collaborate daily with Product Owners, QA Managers, QA Engineers, Dev Ops, Architects, as well as with internal and external partner teams.

Your objective: to design, develop, and optimize the critical backend services of the sports betting platform, while ensuring their performance, resilience, and ability to absorb significant load peaks related to sporting events.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• You will design and develop critical backend services, capable of supporting significant transactional volumes and high real-time constraints.
• You will develop high-performance and secure APIs, ensuring the robustness, maintainability, and scalability of the delivered components.
• You will participate in technical architecture choices, code reviews, and continuous improvement of development practices.
• You will optimize the software development cycle, notably through the adoption of tools and practices based on artificial intelligence.
• You will ensure the integration of third-party systems (payment, KYC, fraud, PAM, Digital Vault, Data) in compliance with security and compliance requirements.
• You will ensure the consistency and resilience of data within distributed architectures.
• You will write and maintain automated tests, to secure evolutions and improve software quality.
• You will optimize the performance of services, particularly in terms of latency, resource consumption, and management of extreme loads.
• You will participate in the analysis and resolution of incidents, and contribute actively to the stability of the systems.
• You will implement and improve observability devices, including logs, metrics, monitoring, and alerting.
• You will contribute to Dev Ops, CI/CD, and SRE practices, to improve the operational efficiency of the platform.
• You will participate in the reduction of technical debt and the continuous improvement of the application portfolio.
• You will document critical components and support the dissemination of technical best practices within teams.

• A higher education degree in computer science or equivalent.
