Job Overview
Guardian Flight is hiring a Fixed Wing Pilot to provide medical air transportation services in Springerville, Arizona. The pilot will fly our King Air C90 on a 14‑Day On / 14‑Day Off schedule and will be responsible for safe, high‑quality medical transport missions.
Salary & IncentivesAnnual Salary Range: $ – $.
Sign‑On Bonus: $15,000 (must complete training and check‑ride).
Retention Bonus: $40,000 (6‑month waiting period, 3‑year program).
Company‑Paid ATP‑CTP if not already completed.
Up to $3,000 relocation assistance.
Company‑Paid crew housing.
- Transport patients safely with medical experts on day or night trips.
- Ensure aircraft readiness for flight dispatches and maintain aircraft cleanliness.
- Maintain accurate company and regulatory documentation and record keeping for shifts.
- Communicate and collaborate with dispatch, flight crews, facilities and partners.
- Provide shift change information to transitioning pilot and team, following company protocols.
- Maintain required certifications and ongoing ground and air training.
- Maintain on‑time, reliable, professional service and meet elevated safety standards.
Required Qualifications
- Commercial Multi‑Engine Land (C‑AMEL) required.
- Must obtain ATP within 5 years of employment.
- Single‑pilot IFR experience preferred.
- Provide logbooks listing all flight dates and hours supporting resume totals.
- Previous medevac and/or cargo experience preferred.
- Valid, unexpired driver’s license.
- Current FAA First‑ or Second‑Class Medical Certificate.
- 2,500 total flight hours (2,000 fixed‑wing, 1,000 PIC, 500 cross‑country, 500 multi‑engine, 100 night, 75 instrument (50 actual)).
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent desired.
- Work in outside weather conditions.
- Work night, day, and overnight shifts as assigned.
- Assist with de‑ice, towing, hangar maneuvering and plane prep.
- Stand, walk, climb, bend, balance, sit, crouch, kneel, or crawl unassisted for extended periods.
- Assist loading patients, lift or move up to 150 lbs cumulative with assistance.
- Vision: close, distant, peripheral, depth perception, adjust focus.
