The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is responsible for providing direct nursing care to residents and supervising the day-to-day nursing activities of nursing assistants in accordance with federal, state, and local standards and regulations.

• Provide direct nursing care to residents.
• Supervise nursing assistants’ day-to-day nursing activities.
• Ensure quality care in compliance with federal, state, and local standards.
• Create a home-like environment and model person-centered care.

• Graduate of an approved LPN program.
• Current state licensure as an LPN.
• Knowledge of nursing and medical practices and procedures, laws, regulations, and guidelines governing long-term care.
• Previous geriatric nursing or long-term care experience is a plus.
• I.V. certification is a plus.
