Job Overview

We are seeking a highly organised and detail‑oriented individual to join our team as Finance Administrator for this busy care home. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the efficient operation of our home, ensuring administrative tasks are handled effectively to support the delivery of high‑quality care to our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the day‑to‑day administrative functions within the care home.
  • Handle incoming inquiries and correspondence with residents, families, and external parties.
  • Manage billing and invoicing processes.
  • Monitor and reconcile resident financial accounts.
  • Assist in budget preparation and financial reporting.
  • Serve as a point of contact between residents, families, staff, and external stakeholders.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Previous experience in an administrative role, preferably in a healthcare or care home setting.
  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with staff, service users, and their families.
  • Confidence in using Microsoft Office.
  • Experience with basic finance administration and financial systems is an advantage.
