ABOUT THIS ROLE
Are you a detail-oriented administrator with experience in data capturing and creditors administration? Our client is seeking a Data Capture Clerk to join their finance team based in Avoca on an initial 6-month contract. This role offers an excellent opportunity to support the smooth running of accounts processes through accurate invoice processing, record management, and administrative support.
The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining financial records, resolving invoice queries, and ensuring supplier documentation is processed accurately and efficiently.
WHAT YOU WILL DO- Match supplier invoices to purchase orders
- Capture supplier invoices accurately and timeously
- Maintain invoice and remittance filing systems
- Assist with invoice query management and follow-up
- Ensure accurate record keeping and document control
- Support creditors administration processes
- Perform general clerical and administrative duties
- Assist the Accounts team with ad hoc finance-related tasks
- Maintain data integrity and compliance with company procedures
- Grade 12 (Matric)
- Minimum 2 years' experience within a creditors environment
- Computer literacy and strong data capturing skills
- Experience working with JD Edwards advantageous
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good organisational and administrative skills
- Ability to manage deadlines and prioritise workload
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment
- Code 8 Driver's Licence advantageous
