Shop Operations Lead

The KAR Shop is looking for an experienced Shop Operations Lead to join our growing team. This is a position for someone who takes pride in running an organized, efficient, and professional automotive repair shop.

• Learn the skill level and strengths of each technician.
• Dispatch repair orders to the appropriate technician based on experience and workload.
• Provide technical guidance and assist technicians with difficult diagnostics and repairs.
• Perform quality control inspections before vehicles are delivered to customers.
• Help maintain an efficient workflow throughout the shop.
• Enforce shop policies, including:
  • Punctuality and attendance
  • Break schedules
  • Time spent on tool trucks
  • Safety procedures
  • Cleanliness and organization
• Help create a positive, team-oriented work environment where everyone is expected to do their best.

• 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM
• No weekends.
