What Is the Opportunity?

National Property provides tailored property protection solutions for high value, complex risks across a wide array of industries. As an Account Executive Officer (AEO), you partner with agents and brokers to provide coverage for new and renewal business based on customers' needs. The role is a technical resource requiring decisiveness, detail‑orientation, relationship‑building and risk assessment skills.

Responsibilities
  • Manage the profitability, growth, and retention of an assigned book of business.
  • Underwrite and negotiate complex customer accounts to minimize risk and maximize profitability.
  • Occasionally negotiate and procure reinsurance for complex accounts.
  • Facilitate placement of foreign admitted policies and provide global underwriting resources to AEs.
  • Assist in business‑development activities for global underwriting services.
  • Build and maintain relationships with internal partners and external agents/brokers.
  • Develop and execute agency sales plans, partnering with Managing Director to create regional/group sales plans.
  • Mentor less experienced Account Executives as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Four to eight years of underwriting experience, preferably in National Property.
  • Deep knowledge of property‑related products, regulatory environment and local insurance market.
  • Strong financial acumen and critical‑thinking skills with proactive risk, marketing and financial challenge identification.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills with agents and brokers.
  • CPCU designation.
