Role Overview

The Business HR team implements the organization’s human‑resource strategy, ensuring that the company attracts, manages, develops, and retains the employees needed to achieve its business objectives. As a Human Resources Business Partner, you will evaluate future workforce needs, recommend strategic changes to HR programs, and partner with leaders to design and deliver talent initiatives that support the company’s business strategy.

Location and Work Arrangement

This role is located fully onsite, Monday through Friday, in Mount Pleasant, WI. A comprehensive relocation package is available for eligible candidates.

Responsibilities
  • Act as a strategic partner with the Insinkerator business leaders to drive people excellence and enable the unit to achieve its deliverables, positively impacting Whirlpool’s North America business.
  • Develop and execute sustainable talent strategies that support the business strategy and needs.
  • Ensure organizational effectiveness by combining data and pattern recognition to diagnose and solve organizational needs.
  • Coach leaders and employees on people strategy and change management.
  • Lead core annual HR processes for the Insinkerator business unit, including performance management, pay planning, workforce planning, talent assessment, succession planning, and development planning.
  • Leverage Center of Excellence (COE) driven solutions and the HR HUB (Operations) to meet business objectives and address organizational issues.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Six or more years of experience in Human Resources.
  • Experience effectively partnering with and influencing senior‑level business leaders.
Preferred Skills & Experiences
  • Master’s degree or MBA.
  • Deep knowledge of the business to fully engage in discussions and lead People Strategy.
  • Ability to develop effective relationships with clients by building trust, leveraging networks, applying HR expertise, and measuring business results.
  • Business acumen to engage in strategic discussions and lead People Excellence strategy to enhance talent and business outcomes.
  • Strength in organizational effectiveness, using diagnosis tools, organization design principles, and building capabilities aligned with Whirlpool’s core values.
  • Proficiency in data‑driven insights, applying analytics and judgment to inform decision making.
  • Coaching skills to drive change and secure leaders’ ownership and accountability.
  • Change champion, partnering to sustain change and create an agile, responsive organization.
