Director Programmatic Supply

As Director Programmatic Supply, you will take on the strategic responsibility for our programmatic buying architecture – from Supply Path Optimization (SPO), through the management of SSP partnerships, to the coordination of overarching sell-and buy-side technologies. In close cooperation with the Activation Units and the Digital Investment Team, you will be responsible for the programmatic big picture: control, quality, transparency, and innovation along the entire supply chain.

You will take on the following tasks:

• Leadership and development of a cross-functional team (Media, Data, Tech, Marketplace, Programmatic-Supply-Analytics) that is responsible for the entire DACH market
• Strategic leadership of the Programmatic Supply area with responsibility for the teams around Programmatic Inventory, Audience-Data & Supply-Analytics, AdTech, and Agency-Marketplace
• SPO strategy & implementation in collaboration with SSPs (e.g., Pubmatic, Xandr, Magnite)
• Control of transparency, quality, and investment goals (e.g., Viewability, Ads.txt, Seller.json, IVT)
• Close cooperation with the Performics platform to ensure technical and operational excellence in programmatic campaign implementation
• Technological bridge between AdServers, DSPs, and BI systems to establish transparency regarding inventory quality and benchmarks as well as partner-spends (e.g., integration in dashboards & BI systems)

We are looking for:

• Several years of experience in digital investment / programmatic advertising with a focus on supply, tech, inventory, or product strategy
• Very good understanding of SSPs, ad server architectures, and the programmatic infrastructure as well as experience in the development and implementation of SPO strategies
• Experience in working with marketplace teams and/or product development is advantageous
• Strategic thinking with strong operational implementation skills to continuously develop the area
• Proven leadership experience as well as the ability to inspire and develop teams
• Excellent communication skills and a strong understanding of customer and stakeholder requirements
• Experience working with multidisciplinary teams as well as in managing complex projects
• Very good German and English language skills complete your profile
