Job Summary / Introduction
Our client is seeking a Compliance Manager to support and oversee regulatory compliance operations across a multi-state P&C insurance platform. This individual will play a highly visible role partnering with internal stakeholders, program administrators, and external regulatory bodies to ensure ongoing compliance across a growing and evolving business.
This opportunity is ideal for someone with strong P&C insurance compliance experience who enjoys working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and wants broad exposure across regulatory reporting, data calls, statistical reporting, and multi-state compliance operations.
Skills & Experience- 5+ years of P&C insurance compliance experience within a carrier, MGA, TPA, or program environment
- Strong knowledge of multi-state insurance regulatory requirements
- Experience managing compliance calendars and regulatory change tracking
- Hands‑on exposure to statistical reporting, state data calls, liability reporting, and premium tax compliance
- Familiarity with NCCI, ISO, and workers’ compensation reporting requirements
- Experience supporting admitted and non‑admitted commercial lines business
- Ability to partner cross‑functionally with underwriting, accounting, data analytics, and executive leadership teams
- Strong research, organizational, and problem‑solving skills
- Experience managing or mentoring team members is preferred
- Comfortable operating in a growing and evolving environment with changing priorities
Job Description
- Manage compliance operations and compliance calendar activities across multiple lines of P&C business and jurisdictions
- Monitor and track changing state regulatory requirements to ensure ongoing compliance
- Coordinate and oversee regulatory reporting obligations including statistical reporting, liability reporting, state data calls, anti‑fraud reporting, and related submissions
- Serve as a liaison to program administrators and MGAs regarding compliance‑related reporting requirements and regulatory obligations
- Support workers’ compensation reporting activities including NCCI reporting and financial data calls
- Collaborate with internal departments including underwriting, accounting, and data analytics to implement process improvements and resolve compliance‑related issues
- Conduct regulatory research related to new products, lines of business, and geographic expansion initiatives
- Assist in maintaining and improving internal compliance workflows, controls, and documentation
- Support licensing, certificates of authority, and other insurance regulatory requirements as needed
- Partner with leadership on strategic compliance initiatives tied to organizational growth and expansion
