Role Overview

As a Content Moderator, you will be responsible for reviewing and evaluating content published on an e-commerce platform, including product listings, images, descriptions, reviews, and seller‑generated content. Your role will be crucial in ensuring that all content complies with platform policies, quality standards, and applicable regulations, helping to maintain a safe and reliable marketplace for buyers and sellers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review product listings, descriptions, images, customer reviews, and other marketplace content to ensure compliance with platform policies
  • Identify and remove prohibited, misleading, fraudulent, or low‑quality content that may negatively impact user experience
  • Apply moderation guidelines consistently while making objective and well‑informed decisions
  • Monitor seller and customer‑generated content to maintain marketplace integrity and trust
  • Escalate complex, sensitive, or high‑risk cases according to established procedures
  • Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail while handling large volumes of content
  • Collaborate with internal teams to support platform safety, compliance, and operational objectives
  • Meet performance targets related to quality, productivity, and turnaround times
  • Stay informed about platform policies, e‑commerce regulations, industry trends, and emerging marketplace risks
  • Contribute feedback and recommendations to improve moderation processes, tools, and operational efficiency
Requirements
  • Language

    Skills:

    Proficiency in German (C1/C2) and English (B2).
  • Eligibility: EU citizenship or a valid Portuguese residency card.
  • Experience: 0–1 year of experience in content moderation or a related analytical role.
  • Skills: Strong critical thinking, communication, and decision‑making abilities.
  • Mindset: Objective, detail‑oriented, and eager to grow within a fast‑paced environment.
