We are currently seeking a dedicated Emergency Medicine Physician to join our team for a locum tenens position near Gentry, AR. This opportunity is available immediately and extends until July 29, 2024, with the possibility of extension. As a critical access rural hospital, we provide essential emergency medical services to our community, offering comprehensive care with fewer volumes compared to larger hospitals.

Outpatient Responsibilities:
As an Emergency Medicine Physician with us, your responsibilities will include:
Providing emergency medical care to patients presenting to the ED Performing usual ED procedures, including intubation, chest tube insertion, conscious sedation, laceration repair, central line placement, suturing, I&D, dental blocks, foreign body removal, reductions, cardioversion, and responding to codes Managing a variety of cases, including Stroke, STEMI, pediatrics, and adults Admitting patients to the hospital via our Hospitalist team and collaborating closely with them for patient care Responding to codes on the medical-surgical floor if needed Requirements:
To be considered for this position, you must have: MD or DO degree Board Certification in Emergency Medicine Active Arkansas medical license ACLS, ATLS, and PALS certifications Additional Details:
