The K–12 Campus Supervisor / School Improvement Specialist provides leadership in improving student achievement across all grade levels. This position supports instructional quality, supervises staff, and ensures alignment with Arkansas state standards and accountability requirements. The role focuses on data-driven decision-making, professional development, and implementation of school improvement initiatives.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Instructional Leadership & School Improvement- Lead development, implementation, and monitoring of campus and district school improvement plans
- Support standards-based instruction aligned to Arkansas academic frameworks
- Analyze student performance data to drive instructional decisions and interventions
- Monitor progress toward state accountability goals
- Supervise and evaluate certified and classified staff in accordance with district policies (e.g., TESS)
- Provide ongoing coaching, feedback, and support for instructional improvement
- Assist with recruitment, hiring, and retention of staff
- Design and deliver job-embedded professional learning for teachers and staff
- Support implementation of research-based instructional practices
- Facilitate data team meetings and professional learning communities (PLCs)
- Identify at-risk students and coordinate appropriate academic and behavioral interventions
- Oversee programs such as RTI/MTSS and Alternative Learning Environments (ALE)
- Monitor student progress and adjust supports as needed
- Ensure compliance with Arkansas Department of Education (DESE) regulations and federal program requirements
- Maintain accurate records and prepare required reports
- Support program audits and reviews
- Collaborate with administrators, teachers, and district staff to ensure cohesive instructional practices
- Communicate effectively with parents and stakeholders
- Participate in district and school leadership teams
- Master’s degree in Educational Leadership, Curriculum & Instruction, or related field
- Valid Arkansas administrator licensure (Principal or equivalent preferred)
- Minimum of three (3) years of successful teaching experience
- Experience in instructional coaching, data analysis, or school improvement preferred
- Strong understanding of Arkansas academic standards and accountability systems
- Ability to analyze and interpret student achievement data
- Effective leadership, coaching, and supervision skills
- Knowledge of RTI/MTSS frameworks and intervention strategies
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
School-based and/or district-level assignment
May require travel between campuses
Occasional evening or extended hours for meetings and events
