Reports To: Assistant Superintendent of Academics
Pay Grade: Salary Schedule, $1000 bonus to all new to district employees

Supports all district initiatives to ensure educational goals and objectives are met by planning, organizing, and executing academic programs, ensuring compliance with educational regulations, collaborating with faculty and staff, and assisting with curriculum development.
Qualifications- Education/Certification/Experience
: - Valid Arkansas teaching license
- Master’s degree in Education or a related field
- 10+ years of experience in K-12 school settings (preferred)
- Instructional coaching or mentoring experience (required)
- Demonstrated leadership, management and data analysis skills
- Outstanding organizational skills to manage and coordinate academic schedules, meetings, and programs effectively
- Excellent leadership abilities to guide, motivate, and support academic staff and students
- Strong communication skills to relay information clearly and efficiently to students, faculty and parents
- Strong knowledge of academic standards, educational legislation, curriculum development, instructional design and assessment
- Proficient in using educational software and other technical tools for academic planning and coordination
- Ability to work collaboratively with faculty, administrators, and other educational staff members
- Exceptional interpersonal skills to build and maintain effective relationships with students, faculty, and parents
- Ability to plan and implement lessons based on standards and the needs and abilities of students
- Ability to write reports, correspondence, and procedure manuals
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of teachers, students, administrators, parents, and the general public
Curriculum Implementation:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to develop, implement, and evaluate curriculum, ensuring alignment with district goals and standards
- Align curriculum goals with the school’s mission and educational philosophy
- Integrate technology, project‑based learning, and other innovative instructional methods into the curriculum
- Use data to make decisions and adjustments to the curriculum program and instructional practices
Instructional Leadership:
- Provide instructional leadership to teachers by collaborating with building principals to discuss effective teaching practices
- Observe classroom instruction regularly, offering constructive feedback to improve instructional quality
Professional Development:
- Coordinate professional development programs for teachers, support staff, and administrators to enhance instructional performance and student achievement
- Design and implement professional development programs aligned with instructional goals and curriculum updates
- Organize workshops, training sessions, and conferences to equip teachers with modern pedagogical tools and knowledge
Assessment and Data Analysis:
- Oversee the development and administration of formative and summative assessments to evaluate student progress and curriculum efficacy
- Analyze assessment data to identify trends in student performance and areas needing improvement
- Work with collaborative teams to use data to tailor instruction and close achievement gaps
Program Evaluation and Improvement:
- Evaluate the effectiveness of current instructional programs and recommend changes for continuous improvement
- Collaborate with the assistant superintendent to update curriculum and instructional goals based on student outcomes, feedback, and educational research
- Ensure the school’s curriculum remains rigorous, relevant, and engaging; support signature programs such as International Baccalaureate, STEM, and College & Career Readiness
Student Support and Differentiated Instruction:
- Promote and support initiatives that foster inclusive practices and equitable learning opportunities for all students
