This contract opportunity, located near Alma, AR, spans the next school year from August 8th through May 13th, providing essential educational support in a one-on-one setting for K-12 students. With a schedule of 1 to 1.5 hours per day, Tuesday through Friday, this part-time role offers the flexibility to maintain work-life balance while making a difference.

Qualifications and

Experience:

• Current certification as a Deaf/Hard of Hearing (DHH) Educator is required
• Experience working with K-12 students in a special education or DHH instructional setting
• Familiarity with developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
• Comfort delivering instruction in-person and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized instruction to students identified as Deaf or Hard of Hearing
• Adapt curriculum materials and teaching methods to accommodate each student's specific learning needs
• Develop, implement, and monitor progress on IEP goals in coordination with other support staff
• Work closely with teachers, support staff, and families to foster an inclusive educational environment
• Maintain accurate records and contribute to student progress reports as required
