Job DescriptionThe Midland School District is accepting applications for Head Girls Basketball Coach with possible teaching assignments. A valid Arkansas teaching license is required or willingness to obtain license through an alternate pathway.
Responsibilities- Provide high quality instruction and support to ensure student academic growth and success
- Actively participate and contribute within the professional learning community (PLC)
- Exhibit a high degree of professionalism with all stakeholders
- Plan and lead organized practice sessions
- Create strategies to lead the team to victory in competitions
- Provide feedback and coaching during competitions
- Maintain player and team records
- Mentor players to develop sportsmanship and respect for the game and others
- Motivate players to improve
- Maintain the equipment and facilities to ensure safe playing conditions
- Maintain effective communication with the school community
Teaching Assignment TBD
Requirements- Appropriate level license/endorsements if necessary and successful completion of all background checks.
- Citizenship, residency or work visa required.
