Qualifications:

• Valid certification as a Special Education Teacher
• Experience providing push-in resource support within a high school setting is highly desirable
• Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with general education teachers and related service providers
• Knowledge of IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring
• Compassionate and patient with a commitment to student growth and advocacy
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with students, families, and colleagues

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver push-in support to high school students with diverse learning needs, ensuring access to the general education curriculum
• Collaborate closely with classroom teachers to modify and adapt instructional materials
• Develop, review, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) aligned with student goals
• Provide targeted interventions and track progress to ensure optimal student outcomes
• Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and professional learning opportunities
• Maintain a positive classroom environment, building strong relationships with students

Position Details:

• School schedule:
  Monday through Thursday, 7:30am-4:30pm
• Focused exclusively on high school resource support for the  school year
