Required:

Associate’s Degree or 60 college hours or passed the Praxis Para Pro test. Will be required to complete dyslexia training as needed.

• Implement instructional activities with students as directed by the teacher and/or building principal.
• Assist in preparation of lesson plans, instructional materials, and data collection.
• Assume responsibility for being prepared to perform instructional duties as prescribed by the teacher.
• Implement behavior management techniques as directed by the teacher/supervisor and treat all students with dignity and respect.
• Assist with maintenance of the classroom.
• Assist with duties including but not limited to the lunchroom, recess, bus, etc.
• Participate in training, staffing, and faculty meetings as directed by the building principal and Administration.
• Adhere to confidentiality policies and practices for students under IDEA as outlined by the teacher.
• Follow any Prescott School Board Policy and/or practice.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the administration, building principal, and/or the supervising teacher.
