School Suspension Facilitator

Job Description

The White Hall School District is seeking an In School Suspension Facilitator for White High Middle School for the  school year.

• Must have a paraprofessional certificate from passing the Praxis or at least 60 hours of college credit.
• Must pass an Arkansas State Police background check, FBI background check, and DHS background check.

• Under the general supervision of the School Principal.
• Supervise students assigned to in-school suspension (ISS) for disciplinary reasons.
• Effectively supervise students and manage student behavior.
• Communicate in writing clearly and concisely.
• Work under the general supervision of the principal and direction of certified teachers on a daily basis.
• Collaborate with certified teachers and campus administrators to create and maintain an orderly, highly structured classroom environment.
• Work with individual students to complete assignments given by the classroom teacher.
• Consult classroom teachers regarding student assignments.
• Maintain individual files of completed student assignments and return them to classroom teachers.
• Perform additional duties assigned by the building principal.
• Maintain confidentiality at all times.

Salary is based on the district classified salary schedule. Position Type:
Full-time.

• Associate degree preferred.
