Under supervision of the Principal and/or Assistant Principal, teach and instruct students in academic subject matter, along with social, behavioral, and other educational or related skill areas. Plan, develop, organize, implement, and assess a comprehensive educational program for students. Assist in other school programs as assigned. Create a supportive and flexible environment conducive to learning and personal growth according to each student’s ability and interests.

Encourage students to develop and fulfill their academic potential.

• Maintain accurate and complete records of students' progress and development, preparing required reports on students and activities.
• Plan, prepare and deliver instructional activities that facilitate active learning experiences and establish clear objectives for all learning activities.
• Manage student behavior in the classroom by establishing and enforcing rules and procedures, maintaining discipline in accordance with the school's disciplinary system, and applying appropriate disciplinary measures when necessary.
• Utilize technology and integrate it into learning materials and resources. Instruct and monitor students in the use of learning materials and equipment, observe, evaluate, encourage, and provide feedback on student performance and development.
• Participate in student support, counseling with academic problems, extracurricular activities (social, sporting, clubs), department and school meetings, and parent meetings.
• Plan, organize, and implement an appropriate instructional program in a learning environment that guides and encourages students to develop and fulfill their academic potential.

Teaching License – Colorado Department of Education

Salary Range: $56,366.00 - $ USD annual
