Position: Part - Time Instructor, English as a Second Language (ESL) - FY 2027
Location: Charleston

Job Description

A position to teach college‑level courses in TESOL and related fields at multiple campuses in Clark County.

Core Responsibilities

Teaching college‑level courses in the field
Developing syllabi and course materials
Evaluating student mastery of skills and competencies required by course outcomes
Providing an excellent teaching experience, student advisement, recruitment activities, and program/curriculum development
Teaching courses at multiple campuses in Clark County
Being available to teach day, evening, and/or weekend courses

Required Qualifications

Master's degree in TESOL, Linguistics, or Second Language Acquisition from a regionally accredited college or university

Preferred Qualifications

Experience teaching ESL in higher education
Experience with computer‑assisted instruction and interactive laboratories

Salary Information

$925.00 per credit hour. Credits will vary by semester.
