The Lewisville Juvenile Treatment Center (L.J.T.C.), nestled in the serene setting of rural Lafayette County, is dedicated to transforming the lives of at-risk young males. Pay:
Follows an approved Teacher Pay Scale, starting at $55,000 a year and increasing based on level of education and experience.

$5,000 Sign-On Bonus ($2500 at 3 Months, $2500 at 6 Months!)

What you will do:

A Special Education Teacher will work primarily with students in an educational setting delivering a curriculum of Target Teaching methodologies. As a teacher, you will track student attendance, maintain student grades, prepare lesson plans, and assist as needed in the classroom setting.

To be considered you should:
Possess a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree ~ Be at least 21 years of age ~ Be able to pass a criminal background check, drug, physical, and TB test ~ Be able to pass a search of the child and adult abuse central registry ~ currently have an active Teacher certification in Special Education.

Schedule:

Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
