The team is hiring for a Special Education Teacher at The Lewisville Juvenile Treatment Center (L.J.T.C.) in Lewisville, Arkansas. The Center is dedicated to transforming the lives of at‑risk young males in a structured environment that promotes self‑discipline, self‑respect, and motivation. This role offers a fulfilling opportunity to inspire and guide youth toward success in a collaborative and supportive atmosphere.
Pay: Follows an approved Teacher Pay Scale, starting at $55,000 a year and increasing based on level of education and experience.
Sign‑On Bonus: $5,000 ($2,500 at 3 months, $2,500 at 6 months).

What you will doA Special Education Teacher will work primarily with students in an educational setting delivering a curriculum of Target Teaching methodologies. Responsibilities include tracking student attendance, maintaining student grades, preparing lesson plans, and assisting as needed in the classroom.
To be considered you should- Possess a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree
- Be at least 21 years of age
- Pass a criminal background check, drug, physical, and TB test
- Pass a search of the child and adult abuse central registry
- Have an active Teacher certification in Special Education
Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM.

Adheres to the facility’s daily and school schedule; delivers curriculum utilizing Target Teaching methodologies; tracks student attendance; maintains and provides student grades weekly and at exit for documentation of student progress; adheres to school policies on grading, posting students’ grades, and quarterly reports; responds to student questions and needs across various ability levels.
Licenses & CertificationsTeacher – Special Education;
Driver’s License.
