City Year seeks Ameri Corps Members to serve full-time in public schools, supporting students' academic and social-emotional growth. In this education-focused role, you'll provide tutoring, mentor students, assist in classrooms, and lead small-group interventions. You'll collaborate with school staff and a diverse team to create a positive learning environment. Responsibilities

• Provide in-class and after-school academic support to students in partner schools
• Build positive mentoring relationships that foster students' social-emotional growth
• Track student progress and maintain accurate data to inform interventions
• Collaborate with teachers and school staff to plan and deliver targeted supports
• Engage families and community partners to encourage student success
• Participate in ongoing training, coaching, and professional development sessions
• Model City Year's core values and commitment to equity and social justice
• Support school-wide events, attendance initiatives, and culture-building activities
