City Year seeks Ameri Corps Members to serve full-time in public schools, supporting students' academic and social-emotional growth. In this education-focused role, you'll provide tutoring, mentor students, assist in classrooms, and lead small-group interventions. You'll collaborate with school staff and a diverse team to create a positive learning environment. Responsibilities

• Provide daily in-class support and one-on-one or small-group tutoring to students in partner public schools.
• Build positive relationships with students, serving as a mentor and role model to support social-emotional growth.
• Collaborate with teachers and school staff to align support with classroom goals and track student progress.
• Lead or assist with after-school programs, enrichment activities, and school wide initiatives.
• Collect and use data to monitor outcomes and inform student support strategies.
• Participate in ongoing training, coaching, and professional development provided by City Year.
• Engage families and community partners to enhance student success and school climate.
• Contribute to a collaborative, inclusive team culture rooted in social justice and service.
