Pay: $17-$20 per hour, based on experience and credentials
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday-Friday | 9:00 AM-6:00 PM
The Learning Experience
- Meridian is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Preschool Lead Teacher to lead a classroom of children ages 3-4.
We're looking for an educator who can create an engaging classroom where children build confidence, independence, friendships, and important early academic skills through purposeful play and hands‑on learning.
Key Responsibilities- Lead daily routines and learning experiences in a Preschool classroom
- Implement The Learning Experience's proprietary L.E.A.P. Curriculum
- Create engaging activities supporting early literacy, math, science, creativity, and social-emotional development
- Encourage independence, communication, problem-solving, and positive peer relationships
- Maintain consistent classroom routines and positive guidance
- Observe children's development and maintain required classroom documentation
- Build strong relationships and communicate regularly with families
- Guide and collaborate with classroom support teachers
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized learning environment
- Follow Idaho childcare licensing, health, and safety requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- Previous professional preschool, daycare, childcare, or early childhood experience strongly preferred
- Experience working with children ages 3-4 preferred
- Lead Teacher or classroom leadership experience preferred
- CDA, Early Childhood Education coursework, or related credentials are a plus
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Ability to meet Idaho childcare licensing requirements
- Competitive pay of $17-$20 per hour, based on experience and credentials

Compensation: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
