Senior Electrical Engineer - Project Manager

Join the nationally recognized, award-winning engineering firm as a seasoned Electrical Engineer Project Manager on their MEPFP team in North Carolina. This remote role is based in North Carolina with regular travel to the Greensboro, NC headquarters. You will lead transformative projects that shape communities and elevate infrastructure across sectors such as education, healthcare, transportation, commercial, and more.

Responsibilities
  • Lead Projects from Start to Finish:
    Manage multiple projects through all phases—from concept to construction—focusing on quality, budget, and timelines.
  • Design Excellence:
    Review and contribute to construction documents, drawings, and proposals to ensure technical accuracy and consistency.
  • Field Coordination:
    Conduct site inspections and data collection to support design integrity and project success.
  • Client Engagement:
    Build strong relationships through design meetings, collaboration, and peer reviews.
  • Financial Oversight:
    Track milestones, prepare projections, and support billing processes.
  • Mentorship:
    Guide junior engineers and foster team development.
  • Business Development:
    Partner with marketing teams on RFQs, interviews, and presentations.
Qualifications
  • ​Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering (Master’s preferred).
  • 10+ years of experience in consulting engineering.
  • PE license (or eligibility) in NC, SC, and VA.
  • Expertise in power, lighting, data, security, and fire alarm systems.
  • Experience with building or industrial/manufacturing facilities.
  • Proficiency in design software (Visual, SKM) and construction documentation tools.
