Job Title: Electrical Engineer, Power Gen I - Sr. 1

Position Flexibility: Can be filled by an Engineer I, II, III, or Senior based on experience and qualifications.

Provide engineering, technical support, and oversight within a Power Generation Plant.

• Lead and assist in causal analysis of plant component failures and operational events.
• Conduct project management and technical oversight of both small O&M and large capital projects.
• Coordinate and execute betterment capital and O&M projects, interfacing with plant production, maintenance, project personnel, and stakeholders.
• Ensure plant modification processes are followed on projects.
• Provide project and maintenance troubleshooting of equipment to address issues promptly.
• Oversee engineering activities of external firms, including work scope development, solicitation and evaluation of proposals, project planning and controls, deliverable review, installation support, and start‑up assistance.
• Assist plant on KPI criteria to improve processes and support staff in establishing and tracking action plans.
• Support reliability process as Boiler Tube Failure Reduction (BTFR) team leader.
• Ensure technical resources are available for daily operations and maintenance.
• Provide technical consultation for applicable equipment (turbine‑generator, boiler, auxiliaries, etc.).
• Interface with equipment OEMs.
• Provide engineering support for plant modifications.

• B.S. degree in Engineering
• Preferred: B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering

• Engineer I: 0–2 years of applicable progressive experience
• Engineer II: 2–4 years of applicable progressive experience
• Engineer III: 4–6 years of applicable progressive experience
• Engineer, Sr: 6+ years of applicable progressive experience

• Demonstrates good engineering judgment
• Strong engineering analysis and problem‑solving skills
• Thorough understanding of procedures, programs, and standards in responsible area
• Strong interpersonal and writing skills
