Job SummaryWe are seeking a Test Engineer 1 to join our Camden team. This individual will develop and implement methods and procedures for process control, process improvement, testing, and inspection to ensure products are free of flaws and function as designed. Responsibilities include designing and installing sophisticated testing equipment, performing product testing and analysis, analyzing reports and defective products to determine trends, recommending corrective actions, and collaborating with supplier representatives on quality problems.

- Interacts with other engineering groups to define, document, analyze, perform, and interpret tests for products, systems, components, or modifications.
- Participates in final system integration and validation to identify functional problems.
- Defines internal quality control standards and maintains reliability programs.
- Creates, documents, and analyzes the most complex test cases and provides feedback and recommendations for product or design changes.
- Ensures testing procedures are in compliance with any required industry specific standards.
- Identifies chronic or systemic problems in testing and develops and implements improvements to process.
- May coordinate with vendors or suppliers to modify or develop testing for components or other parts.
- Associate's Degree and 0‑3 years’ experience
- Engineering degree required
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Bachelor's Degree
- Experience in conformance testing, product testing, test engineering, quality standard development, bug/defect identification, industry standards, test documentation, bug tracking software, software testing tools
- Strong oral and written communication skills, critical thinking, and analytical thinking
- Requires regular movement throughout GD‑OTS facilities.
- May need to stand for long periods of time.
- Work may require employee to work inside and outside with exposure to changing climate and/or operating machinery.
- This position is safety‑sensitive.
Up to 25% travel likely.
