Senior Validation Engineer

In our Radar Validation team in Hamburg we are looking for a Senior Validation Engineer.
Your tasks:
- Contribute as member of a young and dynamic team to perform Radar SoC validation, i.e. analyzing CMOS circuit performance in digital, analogue and high frequency domain
- Support customer design-in efforts and customer complaints
- Translate requirements into clear test specifications and implement them in lab test programs
- Support next generation Radar design perfection and specification by closing the loop from present SoC performance to potential improvements
- Help build and enhance automation frameworks for efficient validation software
- Work cross-functionally with Design and Verification teams to understand and analyze IC specifications and develop validation plan, execution and fast response on issue debug in lab environment
Your profile:
- M.Sc. degree or PhD (preferred) in Electrical Engineering, Physics or similar
- Min. of 3 years of experience in a similar role
- Knowledge and experience of SW and HW debugging
- Solid understanding of radar systems
- Knowledge of mmWave high-frequency / RF technologies
- Programming experience in Labview, Matlab, and Python for lab automation and also data analysis
- Laboratory measurement experience
- Interest in mentoring or supporting team members and sharing knowledge within the team
- Understanding of IC design fundamentals
- Fundamentals of semiconductor technology (wafer manufacturing, assembly and/or test technology)
- Curiosity and motivation to learn and grow within an evolving and innovative field
- Interest in developing long-term technical expertise and gradually expanding responsibilities beyond individual contribution
- Structured problem-solving approach & analytical skills, creativity and flexibility
- Data-informed and quality-oriented mindset
- Proactive approach with a collaborative mindset to drive improvements and innovation, challenging the status quo
- Strong communication skills and quality mindset
- Fluent in English

The successful candidate may/will be responsible for security related tasks. The assignment may/will be in scope of security certifications, therefore a conscious and reliable way of working is necessary.
