Sr. Automation Analyst

Kohler is seeking a Sr. Automation Analyst to optimize manufacturing operations across our global facilities. In this role, you will design, configure, and support industrial automation solutions, including PLCs, HMIs, SCADA, and data integration tools. You will analyze production processes, identify improvement opportunities, and implement automated workflows to increase quality, safety, and throughput. Partnering with engineering, IT, and plant teams, you will troubleshoot complex issues, document standards, and lead small automation projects that advance Kohler's sustainability, innovation, and continuous improvement goals.

Responsibilities

• Design and configure PLC, HMI, and SCADA solutions for manufacturing lines.
• Analyze production processes and identify automation opportunities for quality and efficiency gains.
• Implement and maintain data acquisition and integration between shop-floor and enterprise systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex automation and control system issues.
• Collaborate with engineering, IT, and operations on automation projects and upgrades.
• Develop and maintain documentation, standards, and best practices for automation systems.
• Support commissioning, testing, and validation of new or modified automated equipment.
• Train plant personnel on new automation tools, interfaces, and procedures.
