Accountabilities & Responsibility Areas
Key Responsibilities- Act as the primary local liaison with the
Shared Services Centre (SSC)to ensure accurate reporting, smooth month-end closes, and adherence to group finance policies (AP, AR, Cash). - Serve as the key contact for the
Tanzania Revenue Authority (TRA), managing tax compliance, audits, and statutory filings with zero risk exposure. - Oversee local finance operations including
treasury, payroll, cost control, and internal controls
. - Ensure effective fixed asset management and EFD compliance.
- Prepare and deliver
monthly management accounts, budgets, and forecasts
within agreed timelines. - Lead, develop, and retain a small local finance team.
- Implement and enforce group finance and administration policies at country level.
- Support ad-hoc tasks as assigned by the Group Head of Finance.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business Administration.
- Minimum
10 years’ relevant experience
, with at least5 years in a similar managerial role
. - Strong knowledge of financial regulations within Tanzania.
- International exposure preferred.
- Advanced MS Office skills.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
- High levels of integrity, self-motivation, and attention to detail.
