Team Lead (m/w/d) Investment Controlling

The Investment Controlling department is responsible for the comprehensive management of our investments in real estate companies both domestically and abroad. In this role, you will take on a management and leadership function with the following key areas:

• Disciplinary and professional leadership of a specialized sub-team
• Active support of acquisition and sale processes as well as structural setup of new investments
• Quality assurance of the local accounting of our national and international real estate companies, including the transition to Fund GAAP (KAGB)
• Supervision of the proper preparation and/or audit of annual financial statements and tax returns as well as coordination of tax audits
• Management and professional support of external and internal service providers (e.g., accounting, tax consulting, legal advice, audit)
• Ensuring proper decision-making processes and compliance with regulatory requirements
• Central point of contact for all investment-related issues (e.g., capital measures, distributions, legal documentation)

Qualifications you bring:

• Successfully completed business administration studies, ideally with a focus on accounting, controlling, or auditing/taxation, or equivalent training
• At least 5 years of professional experience in accounting, controlling, or auditing/tax consultancy; industry experience is advantageous
• Proven leadership experience or initial responsibility in managing employees or project teams
• Strong team skills and a high level of commitment, responsibility, and enthusiasm for actively participating in an international and dynamic environment
• Excellent analytical thinking and a strong affinity for numbers and financial statements
• Very good communication skills (at least C1 level in German and English, both verbally and in writing) and confident interaction with internal and external stakeholders
• Routine use of common MS Office applications, especially Excel
