The Grants Administrator supports Goodwill Arkansas' mission of changing lives through education, training, and employment by coordinating grant research, writing, reporting, compliance, and data tracking.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Research foundation, corporate, government, and community funding opportunities aligned with Goodwill Arkansas' mission, programs, and strategic priorities.
- Maintain the grants calendar, including Final date to receive applicationss, reporting dates, renewals, award notices, and required deliverables.
- Track grant opportunities through the full lifecycle, including prospecting, submission, award, reporting, renewal, and closeout.
- Maintain organized grant files, including proposals, budgets, agreements, reports, correspondence, and compliance documents.
- Monitor funder portals and communications for updates, deadlines, and reporting requirements.
- Draft and edit grant applications, letters of inquiry, renewal requests, reports, and supporting materials.
- Prepare clear and compelling narratives that communicate program needs, outcomes, and impact.
- Coordinate with internal departments to collect program information, budgets, data, success stories, and required attachments.
- Ensure proposals are complete, accurate, aligned with funder guidelines, and submitted on time.
- Prepare grant reports, updates, reimbursement requests, and compliance documentation.
- Collect and review program data, including participant demographics, services, credentials, employment outcomes, referrals, and other required metrics.
- Work with Case Worthy and other internal systems to support accurate data tracking and reporting.
- Monitor grant deliverables and help ensure internal teams understand documentation and reporting expectations.
- Assist with budget details, expense documentation, match information, restricted funding records, and financial reporting support.
- Coordinate with Finance on grant budgets, reimbursements, allowable expenses, restricted funds, and funder-required financial documentation.

- Experience 2 years related experience and/or training.

- Skills Grant writing, grant research, reporting, compliance, project management, data tracking, budget coordination, funder stewardship, cross-department collaboration, deadline management, attention to detail, written communication, Microsoft Office, Excel, SharePoint, Case Worthy, CRM systems, and online grant portals.
- Required Certificates, Licenses, Registrations Valid driver's license required if travel is assigned.
- Required Certificates, Licenses, Registrations Reliable transportation required for occasional meetings, partner visits, or Goodwill Arkansas site travel.
- Required Certificates, Licenses, Registrations No grant-specific certification required.
- Preferred Certificates, Licenses, Registrations Grant writing or grants management certification preferred.
- Preferred Certificates, Licenses, Registrations GPC, CGMS, or similar grant compliance credential preferred.
- Preferred Certificates, Licenses, Registrations Project management certification preferred, such as CAPM or PMP.
